Hobble Creek fourth grade students went on a field trip to Diamond Fork Creek to learn about the plants, animals, and water of our area. They put on hip waders and used nets to look for bugs and fish in the river. They tested the ph level of the water. They used binoculars to observe birds and leaves on tree. They went on a plant identification treasure hunt. They learned about Utah animals from touching pelts, horns, antlers and beaks. It was a beautiful fall day and the forest service instructors gave them a hands-on opportunity to learn about their natural habitat.
