Did you know that Mrs. Deborah Johnson is retiring at the end of the school year?

This is what she says about herself, "I have been married for 38 years to the love of my life, Gary.  We have three beautiful daughters, three fabulous son-in-laws, and 8 grandchildren.  We've lived in Spanish fork our entire married life, and have all of our children living within a mile from us!  We absolutely love spending time as a family, camping, hunting, shopping, and having family dinners together!  We have so much fun playing with our grandchildren, and love spoiling them. I have taught in the public school system for 22 years, and 14 years in private preschool.  First grade is the BEST! Some hobbies I hope to continue through my retirement are sewing, vacationing, and volunteering in my grandchildren's classrooms!" She loves the color blue, the book Where the red fern grows, fishing, chocolate cake, shrimp, and sewing.   You will be missed Mrs. Johnson, Miss Ashton will be moving from 3rd grade to 1st grade. Mrs. Crystal Hayes is currently away on maternity leave for a few more week and has a new baby girl to enjoy. Her favorie color is orange, she likes the book A land of stories, she enjoys playing softball, chocolate cake and eating hamburgers and fries. She is really good at math and loves to be with her kids, 2 daughters and 1 son. She would love to take her daughter to a broadway show one day and would like to learn to skydive.  Ms. Tamara Johnson says, "I lived in Camarillo, California until I was 12 and then moved to Spanish Fork, where I am still live today. I graduated from UVU and got my master's from SUU. I have taught 1st grade for 12 years and will be moving to 4th next year.  Excited for the new experience! I have 5 brothers and 1 sister. I have 9 nephews and 3 nieces. I am the FAVORITE Aunt to all of them!! I like to make cupcakes and come up with different flavors of frostings. I also bake cakes for family and very close friends. I love to read. Also, I like to watch documentaries and old movies like from the 40's and 50's." Her favorite color is orange, favorite book is The Secret Garden, Magleby's chocolate cake (everyones!). This summer she wants to finish her technology endorsement and clean her garage. She would like to learn how to sew clothes and wishes there was no diseases in the world. Thanks for all you do to make our school great 1st grade teachers! You've put in a lot of personal time and effort to help our students excel.
