With the recent inauguration of President Biden, Mrs. Garry's 3rd grade class answered the question: "If I were Presdient, I would..."
Scroll through the pictures to see what a few of our 3rd graders would do if they were president. If these kids are our future, we are in good hands.
What a great RED Ribbon week we have had! The students participated by wearing their crazy socks, team jerseys and red...everything! Throughout the week the students have participated in random drawings and have shared their thoughts on how to be brave and the things that make them happy. They have watched a variety of short videos about these topics and have discussed them in class. The Mapleton Police Department has been here all week eating lunch with the students and playing outside games during lunch recess. We appreciate the support of our police department!
Congratulations to our students of the week! Keep up the good work!
Welcome to our new principal Mike Sorensen! Students were greeted today by Mr. Sorenesen as they arrived at school. He also introduced himself via video and told the students a little about himself and his family. We are excited to welcome Mr. Sorensen as he gets to know our school and students.
