Our 5th and 6th graders are all headed to the Middle School next year so instead of the traditional 6th grade vs teachers kickball, we had a 5th vs 6th game! Both teams came out strong and Mr. Sorensen was our referee. Many of the classes came out to cheer on the two teams and were all treated to the music selections from our own DJ Boston Flake...smoke machine and all! It was a fun game, and in the end our 6th graders took the win. Congratulations to all our 5th and 6th graders as they move on to their next adventure in middle school.

Thank you to our PTA for putting on another amazing field day! The students enjoyed beautiful weather and lots of fun games with friends and classmates. Students enjoyed lunch on the back field and at the end of the day our local Mapleton Fire Department rolled in and gave the kids a good cool down! This was by far the highlight of the day and the laughing, screaming and general excitement was definitely the proof! Thank you to our PTA, Mapleton FD, and all the volunteers that came and helped make field day so successful.

Students in Mrs Nissen/Mrs. Brunt's 3rd grade class worked so hard to perform their readers' theater play to their class today. We were all thoroughly entertained and the students had fun performing for each other.  What a fun way to end the school year!
