Costco Cookie Party For Entire School

As you read here on our website earlier in the month, Hobble Creek students participated in a penny war to raise money for the Primary Childrens Hospital. There was plenty of wars going on and Mrs. Yorks third grade class won the war each day but were overthrown the last day by Mrs. Snow's 6th grade class.

As a special surprise for this year, we opened up the chance for families or individuals to match classroom funds. These generous donors were:

Cragun Family (sponsored 3 classrooms)Bleggi FamilyWade Crandall- DHI ComputingDouglas Murphy- Countryside Vet ClinicKyle Smith- Maple Landing CabinetsSusan Johnson- Inn Management Inc.  In addition to these matching funds our school total was matched by Spanish Fork Costco. The total donated by our students, parents and community was $4,095. Costco matched this for a grand total of $8,190 donated to Primary Children's Hospital!WOW! Great job students and faculty of Hobble Creek! All of our amazing donations were sent to Primary Children's Hospital. Yesterday, Costco came and treated our entire school to a chocolate chip cookie party!
