Follow Up On Our Penny War's Fundraiser For Primary Children's Hospital

As you read here on our website earlier in the month, Hobble Creek students participated in a penny war to raise money for the Primary Childrens Hospital. There was plenty of wars going on and Mrs. Yorks third grade class won the war each day but were overthrown the last day by Mrs. Snow's 6th grade class.

As a special surprise for this year, we opened up the chance for families or individuals to match classroom funds. These generous donors were:

Hobble Creek is happy to announce the students of the week for May 19, 2017. These will be the last for this year. Thank you for all the hard work these students have accomplished and all the students at Hobble Creek this year. We love our students and look forward to their safe return in August.

The students for this week are: Julia Properzi, Zachary Broderick, Ella Brimhall, Haddie Dawe, Emma Snapp, Andrew Fisher, Savanna Dorny, Addiyn Glazier, Caigan Gren, Isa Villalobos, and Jackson Allman.

Hobble Creek Kindergarten Students Finish a Year of Waterford

Hobble Creek Elementary has provided some great software products to help early readers. The two most frequently used are Waterford and SuccessMaker software programs at our school. These awesome Kindergarten students just finished a year on Waterford. They log on everyday for 15 minutes a day. We are so proud of their hard work! Great job Hawks.

The Hobble Creek Orchestra Performed Thursday, May 18, 2017

Our school was treated to a special performance today by our very own Hobble Creek Orchestra taught and conducted by Mrs. Jessica Knight. The musicians are Sarah Warren, Jocelyn Brown, Jordan Jenkins, Porter Harrison, Alta Crane, and Cash Jensen.

Our students have worked very hard to learn how to play their instruments this year and did a great job performing. Thank you Mrs. Knight for all your hard work and talent teaching the many beginning musicians in our community.
