The Crystal Apple Award was presented to a very deserving educator, Mrs. Maria Lopez. She is recgonized for her continued dedication to students. Mrs. Lopez is always putting her students needs first wanting to make sure they succeed, whether they are in her class or not. Mrs. Lopez is a dedicated team player! We are so lucky to have her at Hobble Creek Elementary.
Lydia Templeman & Emily Bell from Springville High School came to talk to 3rd graders about Environmental Health. They did a great job teaching the students how to help the environment and ways that can effect the environment in a negative way.

Third Grade went on a field trip to the Natural History Museum in Salt Lake City. They got to explore all different parts of the museum learning things from fossils & dinosaurs, what life is like in other cultures, different land regions, gems & minerals, weather, and some of Utah's features. The students loved exploring and learning about so many different things.
Mrs. Condie's class has been learning the Thriller dance for a couple of weeks. They were finally able to perform it on Halloween for other students and did such a great job.
Way to go Mrs. Condie's 4th Grade!
Our Halloween parade will be Monday October 31st @ 9:30am. Parents and families are welcome to come and watch students parade around the school. Please remember NO masks or weapons with costumes.
Mrs. Smith taught descriptive writing by reading Room on the Broom. She had her cauldron filled with "descriptive words". Students filled it with words till it popped!
Cougar Built Assembly! We got to have the BYU Cougar Dunk Team come out and put on such a great assembly for our Red Ribbon Week. They talked about four great things to remember in life:
