Hobble Creek students will have the opportunity to program robots in an after school club. The program was explained in an assembly of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. In the club they will apply math and communication skills as well as "hands on problem solving". The robots will have motion, sight, sound capabilities.

Kindergarten students toured the school this morning discovering important places and people like Mrs. Williams in the library.

Hobble Creek Welcome Back to School Assembly began with a visit from Screech as the school sang the school song. The students were introduced to the PTA Reflections contest. The theme this year is "Let Your Imagination Fly!" Entries are due Sept. 22. Mr. Johnson read the book Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon to introduce the theme for the year Stand Tall Hobble Creek Hawks. Each grade level stood up for recognition as well as the faculty and new students.
