Kindergarten classes at Hobble Creek spent Friday at the Kindy Indy touring our nation's landmarks and symbols. Kindergarten students made a box car and were able to drive around the nation and visit The White House, The Lincoln Memorial, The Statue of Liberty, Mt. Rushmore, and cousins of the Bald Eagle (a Great Horned Owl and a Red Tailed Hawk). It was a great way to learn about the USA! (Scroll through all 17 pictures to see how much fun we had!)
Students enjoyed having a teacher from a different grade come read them a story!
Sixth Graders Enjoy Eating Pie to Celebrate Pi Day with Mrs. Miller, our Math Specialist.
Congratulations to our lucky Hobble Creek student who won a bike for National School Breakfast Week sponsored by Nebo School District! To encourage participation in students "starting their engines" by eating a healthy breakfast, a drawing was held! Her name was drawn out of all students who ate school breakfast during this special week!
