The Math Olympiad season officially started at Hobble Creek!  This is the second year Hobble Creek has participated in this international Math enrichment program.  Upper-grade students meet weekly to practice solving problems, discuss strategies, and have fun!  Each month from November through March theses students test what they’ve learned by competing in a challenging 5-question contest.  23 students participated in the November challenge.  Congratulations to Hobble Creek’s top scorers who got all 5 questions right, 6th graders Sadie B. and Hailey W. and 5th grader George B.  Also, kudos to runner-ups who only missed one, 4th grader Brayden B. and 3rd grader Carson B.   Finally, the Hobble Creek Team, consisting of the top 10 scores, had 38 out of 50 points.  Great start to the season, and good job team!"
