Since the week before Christmas break can get a little crazy with excitment, Miss Johnson's  4th grade class did some Gingerbread Men Science. The question was if the Gingerbread man didn't get a ride on the Fox's back to cross the river, how fast would he dissovle? Would it make a differnece if he was in different kinds of liquids? So instead of just water Miss Johnson's class decided to try Egg Nog, Vinegar and Hot Chocolate.

Hobble Creek had a special visitor this week!  Jolly St. Nick visited each classroom and handed out treats to our students.  What a fun surprise for our students!  "Ugly" sweaters were seen all around among our faculty and students.  During this last week of school we saw lots of "Cindy-Lou-Who's, Green Grinches, and pajama clad students!  Our teachers and staff have done a great job helping students get excited for Christmas....not that the kids needed much help!

We hope you have a safe and healthy Christmas Break and hope to see you all back here next year!
