Tuesday, May 11th, 2011 was Medieval Day for 6th graders at Hobble Creek Elementary. For a month now the four 6th grade classes (Mrs. Snow’s, Miss Johnson’s, Mrs. Nissen, and Mrs. Hayes class) have been preparing for this day. The students had to do a 3 hour project that represented Medieval Times. There were projects that were castles, catapults, horses, shields and much more. The students had to also dress-up to look like medieval times. Parents and other classes were given the opportunity to come and see the 4 classrooms. In Mrs. Snow’s classroom, the students that had made catapults were able to have a contest to see which catapult would shoot marshmallows the farthest.
