In the spirit of Christmas we wanted to do a little throw back to our music review performances! Thanks to Mrs. Fish, Autumn Redd, our parents, and our AWESOME students for their hard work in making a successful "Music Review" once again!

Kindergarten classes celebrated Gingerbread Week! On Monday we read the traditional Gingerbread Man story, shaped dough and baked one, but he ran away! We followed his adventures around the globe, read different gingerbread versions of the story, and decorated gingerbread houses on Friday!

The Wilber Family, members of the Ososyoos Indian Band, performed Native American dance and storytelling as a culminating activity for our kindergarten students learning about Native Americans! Owen, Myles, and Lilah are currently students at Hobble Creek! Thank you for sharing your talents and cultural heritage with us!

Each of my Mrs. Brotherson's groups did a cookie election today for Election Day! They ate cookies and voted on their favorite one. And the winner of Mrs. Brotherson’s (Bailey) cookie election was the Plain Oreo by 2 votes!!
In our "Hawk Pride Assembly" last week we recognized our students who worked on developing "healthy habits" during the month. Students were encouraged all month be be healthy physically and mentally in order to be happy and healthy while they learn each day at school. Our Halloween parade will be October 31st at 9:30 AM! Please find a spot around the outside of the school before 9:30 and be ready to watch the parade! Please make sure costumes have no masks, no weapons, and are school appropriate. We can't wait to see you!
