What's Happening at Hobble Creek?-- Gingerbread Science!

Submitted by tori.bennett on
Since the week before Christmas break can get a little crazy with excitment, Miss Johnson's  4th grade class did some Gingerbread Men Science. The question was if the Gingerbread man didn't get a ride on the Fox's back to cross the river, how fast would he dissovle? Would it make a differnece if he was in different kinds of liquids? So instead of just water Miss Johnson's class decided to try Egg Nog, Vinegar and Hot Chocolate. (Not sure why vinegar was chosen) It was a little bit messy but the students had a blast watching how many seconds or minutes it took the poor Gingerbread man to fall apart.
