Mrs. Bingham's Second Grade class gave the sing along assembly an upbeat beginning. Box top winner's names were drawn for a prize and each grade lead the student body in a sing along.
Hobble Creek Students of the week on December 18, 2015 were George Bassett, Joseph Berry, Livya Stoker, Brinley Cherrington, Lauren Sorenson, Brayden Bills, Ryder Loveland, Sadi Johansen, Michell Holman, Rachel Miayagi, Natalie Carer, Hallie Johnson, Mya Farish, Max Smith, Miles Farley, Dodge Fielding, Bryan Gordon, Ashton, Alvey, Avery Frishknecht.
Hobble Creek students enjoyed playing in the 12 inches of snow on the playground.
Mrs. Smith's Second Grade showed school spirit by wearing their school colored shirts.
Mapleton Junior High School Orchestra and Band shared an awesome Christmas Concert Assembly with our school. It was fun to see Hobble Creek students as members of the ensemble. Hobble Creek teachers helped out on the song "Boom Whacker Christmas" ! The student body enjoyed singing along with the last piece which was a medley of Christmas Carols.
The class has published a Christmas abc book. They are learning about homophones and bossy r's.
Mrs. Bingham's class has been drumming this year and they are amazing! The students work together to create a fun sound with rhythm and movement.
