Hobble Creek Elementary had its annual Spelling Bee Contest on January 26th, 2011. There were a total of 28 students from 4th, 5th, and 6th grade that participated in the event. The first place winner was Samantha Smith, a 4th grader in Mrs. Bartholomew’s class. The second place winner was Alanna Hess, a 5th grader from Miss Huyett’s class. We would like to commend our students for all their hard work. The Spelling Bee Contest has proved how smart the students are a Hobble Creek Elementary!

This holiday season we have a goal of contributing 1,000 hours of service! Each grade level has adopted a project, and students are also encouraged to complete service outside of school and report their hours. As of December 17, we completed over 1,800 hours! Congratulations, Hobble Creek Hawks!
