Mrs. Christensen is a student as well as a teacher.  She has  been studying to earn a license in Early Childhood Education, a reading endorsement, and is now working toward a Masters of Education.   She has lived in Spain, and traveled extensively within the United States. She went to Central America to see ruins and study about the ancient Maya civilization.

 We have a campaign at our school, and throughout the district, to increase our membership of Facebook and Twitter followers to our Hobble Creek Elementary Page. We would like to encourage all parents and grandparents to "like" our page because it will allow you to see what is going on at our school on a regular basis (like our Green Ribbon Week). Please follow these steps to make sure you arrive at the correct Hobble Creek Elementary page:

Green Ribbon Week, Emphasizing Safety

Students have signed a pledge to follow the saftey rules: Cross at the corner if there isnt a crosswalk, Look both ways when crossing the stret, wear reflective clothing at night, walk with a buddy, cross at the crosswak, streets are for cars ot kids, don't play in or near the street, walk don't run across the street. 

The pledges form a chain and will be used in a drawing at the safety assembly.
