Hobble Creek Elementary's STUDENTS OF THE WEEK on Friday, August 28, 2015:  Julie Franke, Chloe Christensen, Lucy Carter, Jacob Ballard, William Rex, Hadlie Murdoch, Evelyn Ames, David Jensen, David Halverson, Tyler Haveron, Lizzy Lowe, Lily Ann Conroy, Anna Sneddon, Anson Polgar, Ayson Beardall, Will Jenkins, Chloe Ekker, and Sarah Gardner.

Hobble Creek students will have the opportunity to program robots in an after school club.  The program was explained in an assembly of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students.  In the club they will apply math and communication skills as well as "hands on problem solving".  The robots will have motion, sight, sound capabilities.  

Hobble Creek Welcome Back to School Assembly began with a visit from Screech as the school sang the school song.  The students were introduced to the PTA Reflections contest.  The theme this year is "Let Your Imagination Fly!"   Entries are due Sept. 22.  Mr. Johnson read the book Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon to introduce the theme for the year Stand Tall Hobble Creek Hawks.   Each grade level stood up for recognition as well as the faculty and new students.  

Orchestra Director, Jessica Knight lead the Hobble Creek 6th grade in a concert.  Mrs. Knight clogged with the orchestra as well as playing several instruments.  It was wonderful to hear the orchestra play after a year of progress. 

Springville Library came to excite students for summer reading.
