It was a very successful Red Ribbon Week. Students learned about being positive, having self positive affirmations, saying No to drugs, why we say No to drugs and many other things. Thanks to Mapleton Police Officers for coming and spending some time with the students. It was a fun week!
Fifth Grade learned all about natural hazards in science. They decided to put handmade houses and structures to the test to see if they would withstand a natural hazard of flooding. Students had so much fun putting what they learned to the test.
Our Book Fair is Happening this week, October 19th-21st. Come check it out and get some great books!
5th Graders got creative with art. They created cool Halloween art by ripping the paper up and creating a picture with it.
Third Graders have been learning all about Life Cycles for different animals and plants. They were able to watch the Life Cycle of a butterfly right in their own classrooms. Starting with the caterpillar and changing through the different stages. Once they turned into butterflies they were able to go and release them outside. Students had so much fun learning about the Life Cycle in science.
MMHS Football players come into different classrooms and read stories to the students. The students loved having them and enjoyed listening to the football players. It was fun watching them interact with students and having a good time. Thanks for coming!
