5th Grade Wax Museum
5th Grade Wax Museum- Fifth graders did such a great job at their wax museum. They became an expert on a certain person in our history and then presented who they were to the rest of the school and families.

The 4th grade was excited to have Grizzly Scott Sorenson a real life mountain man come and share stories of how the mountain men helped shape Utah's history. He told great history and some excellent Tall Tales :) He showed them some interesting animal skins with great stories behind them. Ask your 4th grader what their favorite story was. Thanks for coming Grizzly!!
All students and faculty at Spanish Fork High are safe. This was a false report of an active shooter at Spanish Fork High. Police responded quickly and lock down protocol was immediately put into place. Police swept the building and have deemed it safe.
As a result your school was either on lockdown or lockout for a short period of time.
We appreciate the quick reaction of our local law enforcement and administration.
There is no school on Wednesday March 22, 2023.

The Discovery Gateway Children's Museum come and taught our kindergarteners about motion. They loved doing the different activities and seeing how motion worked. Their favorite was playing tug-a-war with each other.
We had a great assembly to kick off our Literacy week. Author Jennifer Jenkins and previous Studio C cast member and now comedy writing for the group JK, James Perry came and talked all about Literacy and what it means to them. Somethings we learned from them were:
Hard things make us stronger and they make our characters stronger.
If we want to write interesting things we have to learn to be a little vulnerable.
We need to learn to share our feelings and ideas with others.
Monday: Assembly Kick Off
Tuesday: Wear PJ's
Students from Mrs. Flake's 3rd grade class got to go the office to ring the new bell to celebrate some accomplishments while the office staff cheered for them.
5th Grade dissected owl pellets this week to talk about food chains. They found lots of cool stuff including fur, bones, or entire skulls in some of their pellets! It was a great way to study food chains in action.
